The latest version of our software is now available to our customers. In version 2.38 of Hadrone PPM, we have introduced the following new features and improvements:

1. Default views

We have introduced the ability to set a user-created view as the default view for a given screen. Such a view is automatically selected when entering the screen.

2. Automatic NPV calculation

We have added automatic calculation of the NPV value based on project data (expenses and benefits), taking into account both baseline and estimated values, as well as calculation parameters (payback period, annual rate of return) set either globally or within a given project.

The new NPV values are displayed in various places across the system. They are also available in reports and via the API. A new screen has also been created for monitoring both the baseline and estimated NPV values in the portfolio.

3. Project card templates

We have introduced the ability to create project card templates in the configuration, within which you can define the scope of attributes to be included in the project cards generated within projects.

Project card templates can be assigned to projects to facilitate and standardize project card generation. Projects still retain the option to generate a project card by manually selecting the relevant attributes.

4. File repository templates in MS Teams

We have introduced the ability to define file repository templates in MS Teams within the configuration, including a predefined folder and subfolder structure.

In a project linked to a team and channel in Teams, we have added the option to import such a repository structure from a template, to speed up the creation of repositories in accordance with the organization’s standards.

5. Integration with AzureAD

We have introduced integration with AzureAD, which includes synchronization of user accounts and their permissions (optional).

In this integration, password management is carried out in the same way as for local accounts. The AzureAD integration feature is available as an additional paid module.

6. Other changes introduced in the latest version:

  • extending the permissions of the Steering Committee Chairperson to allow closing reporting periods in the project,
  • enabling the Project Manager and Project Coordinator to assign decisions to a change request also when the request is in the "In Approval" status,
  • removing the ability for a sub-portfolio representative to restore a rejected project (Rejected → In Verification) within project verification permissions,
  • blocking the closing of a dialog window when clicking outside the dialog area,
  • adding schedule items without highlighting activities (single button),
  • other minor changes and bug fixes.
