The Hadrone PPM software has been updated to the latest version (v2.40). Once again, the tool has been enhanced with valuable functionalities. We have also introduced several changes that will significantly improve efficiency.
Here are the new features and changes we have implemented:
1. Project risk definitions [ROADMAP 2023]
In the configuration, we have introduced the ability to create project risk definitions to speed up the process of adding standard risks to projects. A project risk definition can be assigned to a project category, which makes it easier to find risks relevant to projects within a specific category. A hint can also be added to the risk definition to guide users on when a given risk should be included in a project.
2. Project Stakeholders [ROADMAP 2023]
We have introduced the ability to add project stakeholders, i.e., people who should have access to the project but are not formally members of the project team or the Project Steering Committee. Project stakeholders have permissions equivalent to those of representatives of Investment Centers assigned to a given project. A person acting as a project stakeholder must have a specialist account. Project stakeholders have also been included in reports, the project card and its template, during project copying, as well as in API methods.
3. Project priority [ROADMAP 2023]
We have introduced the ability to define a project priority dictionary in the system configuration and assign priorities to projects. Project priority is used for filtering, sorting and grouping projects, as well as for grouping tasks in My Dashboard by project priorities. Project priority has also been included in reports, the project card and its template, during project copying, in reminders and notifications, as well as in API methods and webhooks.
4. Faster addition of investment centers and effect categories to a program
We have introduced functionality that speeds up the process of adding Investment Centers and Effect Categories to a program, based on the Investment Centers and Effect Categories already assigned to projects within that program.
5. API enhancements
We have added new API methods to support the following functionalities:
- RAG reports in projects,
- additional fields in projects,
- JIRA integration within projects,
- editing project effects (start month, automatic scheduling, linked schedule element),
- editing the assignment of an Investment Center to a project,
- editing project expense financing.
6. Modification of permissions for project deletion
We have removed the ability to delete a project from users with the Project Manager role. This permission is now limited to the person who created the project (Project Creator) and users with the administrative permission "Edit any project". This change was introduced to reduce the risk of accidental project deletion by someone with project management rights but without the authority to create or remove projects.
