Hadrone PPM version v2.49 is now available!
We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of our Hadrone PPM software – v2.49!
This is another release filled with improvements and new capabilities, created thanks to the commitment of our team and the inspiring feedback from our users. The introduced functionalities open up new possibilities, make everyday work easier, and allow for better optimization.
1. Sorting/filtering the list of outdated projects in the portfolio [ROADMAP 2025]
As part of portfolio project management, in the “Outdated Projects” tab we have introduced the ability to filter projects by: sub-portfolio, project status, project category, Steering Committee Chair, Project Manager, and Project Coordinator.
As in other parts of the application, filters can be saved as views.
2. Field order configurator in the project card [ROADMAP 2025]
We have introduced the ability to define the order of sections with project attributes both in the project card template and directly in the project itself if no template is used.
3. Export of the project card to Word / RTF [ROADMAP 2025]
Previously, exporting the project card was only possible to a PDF file. Now it is also possible to export it to MS Word (DOCX), allowing further editing of the card after export.
4. Project checklist – introduction of checklist item grouping [ROADMAP 2025]
In the project checklist, we have introduced the ability to add groups to which checklist items can be assigned. The order of groups can also be changed. After creating the first group, all existing items are automatically assigned to the system category “Unassigned to group.” This category has a fixed position at the bottom of the checklist and its order cannot be changed.
The use of groups is optional and will be particularly useful in projects with many checklist items, often focused on specific areas or stages of the project (e.g., tasks to be completed during project initiation, product acceptance, or handover to operations).
5. Project checklist – information on completed and remaining items
At the project level, next to the project checklist icon, we have added information about the number of items remaining to be completed. Additionally, if any of these items are overdue, a red indicator dot will appear to signal the delay. Thanks to this, upon entering a project we can immediately see that there are tasks to be done (including overdue ones) without having to open the checklist panel.
After entering the checklist panel, similar information about the number of remaining tasks is displayed at the level of each group, which is especially useful when a group is collapsed.
Additionally, information is provided on the total number of checklist items, how many have already been completed, and how many are still pending. Overdue items are also indicated.
6. Project checklist – import with group support
We have introduced the ability to import checklist items from templates directly into created groups.
Additionally, if the import is performed at the level of the entire project (and not a specific group), the system will allow automatic creation of a group based on the template name.
